I was educated in the public school system, as was my husband and our children.  I have been a staunch advocate for public, free and integrated education all of my adult life.  Most of my adult working experience has been as a high school educator in those schools around the country and in Germany.  I am committed to the fact that a strong society is built on both strong families and a thriving public education system. 

Since I started my career in 1991, I have seen many changes both positive and negative.  I want to serve on the Board as the District 2 representative, to continue to advance public education here for all stake holders.  We all benefit from strong and thriving Beaufort county public schools.
